Is Bupropion proscribed for Sz in the UK?

As above, I wanted to ask. Does anybody here in the UK have Bupropion with an SZ diagnosis?

I was curious so I googled to see if it is available in Trinidad. It is also known as (Aplenzin, Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin XL).

Wellbutrin/generic (the mentioned drug I’m just not gonna try bother spelling because I don’t want to frustrate myself) is what I’m on for depression, Its hard to say if I’m more motivated, like in terms of a solid sensation of energy, but I cannot deny the results of my actions… I’m simply doing more things. Its like this phantom effect of well I don’t feel that different but something has changed none the less.

In the uk as far as I’m aware they won’t prescribe for depression only as a quit smoking aid.

Don’t take my word for it. Ask a professional you might get a different answer

It made me hyper and ocd. I can’t take it. But I can take other ADs.

I was under this impression too. For that task it works marvelous tbh, or so anecdotal evidence says as such.

But you’re right, when i bought it up to a nurse they said something similar hence why i felt id ask on here - but so far it seems nobody gets proscribed it.

I’ve been on Buproprion for a long time. I’m dx’ed schizoaffective, and Buproprion is an antidepressant. It does help with my depression, though. I really notice it when I don’t get it.
