Is anybody's medicine working really well

My medicine isn’t working that good, because I still get delusional…but I still think the meds keeps me from going insane, and it keeps me from being depressed though.

Positives are rarer and ap is doing a good job on as least as I can go.

Antidepressant is good. I’ve halved it’s dose in the last 6 months after years on a really high dose.

I’m getting old but 20 years on medications and I am totally happy with my meds. Something great comes out tomorrow that helps you lose weight easy I’m not really sure I’d even try it. It’s hard when you find a good regime to give that up at this stage of the game.

Is cricket a hard game as far as being in shape, or is it a game that doesn’t require to be in very good shape?

You can be any level. Depends on your job in the team. Many a big, rotund and unfit player does well because they have good hand eye co ordination. You can stay in a spot and just catch even if your unfit.

It’s hard work bowling but if you bowl spin you don’t have to be uber fit. It’s a game of skill. Better than baseball because you can hit 360 degrees. Most good cricket players do well in baseball because your hitting balls that are full tosses and even at speed your hitting in front. It’s a great game for all levels.

What position do you play with playing cricket?

I’m an opening bat. I face your best bowlers with a new ball ( new ball moves more because it’s shiny much like a baseball’s curve ball ) and I do well. It’s a lot of fun…here’s an example of low level cricket. I play in a competition that is better standard than this but it shows you how the game is played…

Nice video…cricket seems to be very hard to play… It seems to be very intellectual, is that right?

This is a live feed my bad. Just about to kick off again! Cricket is a game of sessions…You bat. You bowl.

It’s like baseball. It’s not intellectual it’s about process and thought to achieve a goal. It is a thinking sport. Setting fields and such is a lot of work and intuitive and it’s not easy. I was a lower grade captain at our club for years. You learn a lot about moving people and it’s probably more like chess. You need people behind the wicket and whether they are catching to get a wicket…or saving a run because those runs add up. Great sport.

What level do you play with cricket?

I’m on 400 mg injection of abilify every month and it seems to work quite well at the moment. It’s not very sedating so I have energy to do things. It also acts as a mood stabilizer so it keeps my up and down moods mostly at bay. Almost haven’t had any positive symptoms for over a year. I do get anxiety pretty frequently though.

Since I gave up coffee I’d say abilify 15mg is working well for me.

Clozaril here for nearly 11 years, works very well for me!

I spent a lot of years riding the knife’s edge where my meds gave me insight without completely removing my positive symptoms. I prefer to have some positive symptoms on a lower amount of meds so I’m not completely sedated or overwhelmed with negative symptoms as those are a right bugger to push back against.

I can’t tell because I’m used to having psychosis and don’t care as long as the voices are partially blocked.

Yep. I still have symptoms that limit me a lot but without meds life would be impossible to manage.

My meds are working perfectly. Risperdal 4mg. Tried 5 antipsychotics, Risperdal is my best.

My meds help especially remeron. I feel better as of now. Still have some issues though.

I’m on Olanzapine 20mg - works perfectly in that I no longer have any positive symptoms - just a few negatives now

My meds are working quite well. Get less voices and depression but anxiety and delusions remain (although mostly less intense)

My meds are alright. They keep delusions and paranoia at bay. I still have some breakthrough tactical hallucinations, but nothing too bad. Just the occasional “there are bugs on my face” feeling.
But I know it’s a hallucination, so I don’t really let it get to me.
No side effects that I’ve noticed, apart from a bitter aftertaste.
