For my next injection I’m supposed to take Invega Trinza instead of Sustenna. I’ve had the Sustenna injection four times (maybe five, I can’t remember what they did when I was just admitted to the hospital). My nurse told me it has less side effects and I only have to take it once every three months so that sounds good to me. Sometimes I still wonder if maybe the change will affect me and I’ll have more side effects until I get used to it or something.
Wanted to hear from people here who’ve maybe taken Invega Trinza or are still taking it.
I’m on invega sustenna 75mg. So far only side effect is a little constipation, insomnia,and lumps at the injection site. Hoping to go on invega trinza once it’s in Ontario.
I didn’t get lumps and the insomnia usually goes away with some quetiapine. Usually not being able to sleep is because of some stress during the day so I don’t think it’s the medication.
I actually live in Ontario and already got the prescription for invega trinza.
Okay wow I’ll have to ask about the trinza again then. I would prefer the 3 month injection. Cause I actually hate getting the monthly ones I get them in the arm and I find they hurt.
Well I’m currently 60 days off of it still have it in my system. My side effects are bad like I’ll start with the sex dysfunction I berly get it up, I don’t have a sex at all. And no motivation, nothing intrestes me any more. It’s like there is no joy in anything. My memorie is bad to almost always in a fog I can’t concentrate worth a Damn. Luckily I have a easy job or I wouldn’t be able to work. It’s weird it’s like being in constant state of bordum. I’m hopping I will recover from this drug. However I can say it works for the voices
