Invega sustenna injection or pill comparison

I just experience people in two like their spirits are talking to me. They make sense, but their voices are slowly going away so I think they are not real.

Those kind of voices cause paranoia for me, the other ones commenting on my thoughts when I’m alone and trying to put my mind on rest, cause my thinking to be disorganized.

Sometimes I may see their white ghostlike spirit come out and say something, but that’s lately lesser now

That’s good. Sometimes my visual hallucinations cause me to freeze and I get trapped. Luckily that’s rare. Last time it happened was November in therapist office. They stayed for awhile, constantly there, like seeing the world in two frames and the one is messed up, the other normal, and when there was a flare I would see the devil, or people’s face changing. Could get connected with few people bc they scared me

I get the Invega Sustenna monthly injection. I started with 234mg and got it successfully lowered to 156mg. It took time for me to stabilize but I’ve been stable for more than a year now. I still have sexual dysfunction and insomnia that I’m dealing with and other side effects but I’m stable and functioning.

I read that invega causes magnesium depletion which can cause insomnia.
I’m using 0.5mg klonopin for sleep which I cut in two halves and take another half if I wake up in middle of night.

İ m also using invega injection. All i can say is its really effective medicine with minimum side effects. İ didn t use pill form but i heard that injection has much less side effects than pill.

I’m on the injection with little side effects. 234 mg every 3 weeks. It never makes me drowsy.

@Ale - I’ve tried atleast 6 or 7 different medications and they have all eventually stopped working. Right now I’m taking Clonazepam 1mg and it’s kind of working. My problem is that I start having really vivid dreams and as soon as the dream ends I wake up. I’ve been taking liquid Benadryl and that works for 2 days and then I have to switch to something else. I also started taking Magnesium supplement but that didn’t do anything either so I threw it away. I’m at my wits end right now with this because I don’t feel well rested most of the time.

I get rest with 0.5mg clonazepam but I’m tired during the day too

I wonder if doctor would approve to some activating antidepressant that you take in the morning if you can get sleep with it. I quit latuda so I could maybe try something new.

I got really sedated yesterday. I guess for me, the sedation kicked in a day after. I ate a ginger candy and didn’t feel any different with energy, but it did help with my nausea.

I’m trying yoga breathing practice that I saw in the ginger tea box. Seems to help a little.
Anyway I’m going to try sarcosine and possibly buy a sad lamp to help with this.

For me, I’ve been on both. pill before adding shot and did not have any differences of side effects other than my EPS was a tad bit stronger immediately after for a few days.

Sedation wasn’t an extreme issue for me though. If I remember from my CNP it can take a bit to get adjusted to meds- shot or pill just one stays in your system longer

Has invega helped your disorganized thoughts?
