Invega Sustenna and Seroquel

Anybody else on this combo of meds? I’m on Invega Sustenna and Seroquel now. My SZ is so treatment resistant now, it seems. I need the Seroquel for sleep at night because my voices are especially active at night.

I was on that combo coming out of the hospital. I didn’t care for the Seroquel.

Why not? Was it making you too drowsy during the day?

No it was causing me to panic. I get panic attacks easily. Other than that it worked for sleep.

Oh, I’m also on BuSpar to help with my anxiety, so that’s not an issue for me. It does make me hot, though

zombie I haven’t personally tried Invega LAI but have used another depot for 27 years that’s almost as efficious as LAI. Beside of the depot I’m on 750 mgs Seroquel as well and those two meds are really good for me. I don’t find the amount of meds you are on overwhelming and I find that Seroquel is a good thought blocker(as a matter of fact the best one I’ve tried) and a very calming meds. Don’t worry about to be going up in Seroquel. When your brain feels saturated on Seroquel the you’ll realize that your meds finally work.
Having hallucination before sleep I’m sure can be avoided by taking more meds and in my country polypharmacology with two antipsychotics is mostly the rule.
And as my last words I’ll say to you I’ll say I’ve been even more resistant to medication than you and most people in this forum.
when I was on my worst I was on 3 antipsychotics at large doses at the same time.
