Suffering from severe intrusive thoughts today it crept onto me, I feel terrible, I don’t want these thoughts feel people can read them. Taking prn.
Don’t allow yourself to feel terrible by this, your thoughts aren’t a reflection of yourself, but your words and actions are.
What you have to do is simply accept the thoughts, let them pass through your brain and physically think the word “intrusive thought” move on and start a new train of thought.
Hope this works for you, it takes time but it does start to lessen, and there’s no point in beating yourself up over something you cant help
I should allow it to pass, but sometimes the thoughts are so terrible. Thanks @spiderpig.
You could try taking deep breaths and release and let go of the negative (as much as you can anyway). Let the negative turn to dust as you breath out and deeply breath in the positive.
If it persists, I recommend telling your pdoc. Perhaps you need a med adjustment or switch,
How do they come? Fast and hard? Slow and sneaky? Or are there periods where you have none at all?
