I appreciate the internet and my smartphone. I am a loner but dont feel lonely with the internet. I can keep learning so much. I can be creative. I can stay organised. How about you?

I love the internet. There are so many things that I have got advice about or researched specific questions. And theres all the entertainment value. And theres the ease of keeping in contact with friends from all over the country. Its amazing.

technology has helped me by giving me hobbies, which i feel are crucial to my stability as to not have a wandering mind all the time. also sometimes finding that someone else has had a similar experience as you makes you feel less delusional, pdocs dont tell you everything the disorder entails but finding out you are not the first or only person to think a specific thing is like a groundbreaking discovery

I absolutely love having a word processor versus a traditional typewriter.
The internet, Wikipedia especially, comes in handy for research and just general curiousity.
I have a few social forums to stay connected with friends and family.
My husband and I both have cell phones, and I can stay in contact with him if I am ever out running errands and experience social anxiety or something unusual and my loved ones can help me reconnect with reality and are just a phone call (or text) away.
Technology has definitely improved my limited social functioning.

It allows me to socialize when before I would not have tried. It allows me to learn on my own which is a blessing because I have trouble learning in groups. It allows me to work remotely rather than in an office. This has greatly lowered my stress and lets me function on fewer meds. My hobbies are dependent on technology (digital photography, running a Net radio station, cooking with sophisticated appliances, etc.). I very much enjoy having unfettered access to good viewing and listening as well.
Life is wonderful.
