It has helped soooooo much. I am able to vent and hear others stories. I found an entire culture of people like me. Most of us seem like we are here to help others and ourselves which I think is amazing. It has helped to restore my faith in humanity.

For my entire life I felt different. I didn’t know why but just not quite like other people. I came here and found other people who think like me. I don’t feel different when I come here. I’m just one of the gang like I’ve always wanted. I don’t stick out like a sore thumb when I come here. It’s nice to feel normal for a quick minute.

It’s just nice to be able to talk with others who are sz or have similar experiences. I can’t talk about my illness with anyone I know.

I like hearing from people who have similar paranoid thoughts and psychosis. I never visited a forum before this one where people had similar experiences regarding that stuff. It was refreshing. Also this forum is fun and amazingly active.

I fit in to a degree. New for me.
It helps me feel accepted and not lonely (for the most part).
It’s also helped me get a better grip on what goes on it my head, and how to deal with it.
It feels like by learning about the experiences of others, I learn about myself.
It helped me find out that I’m not alone. Many others have gone before me and hopefully not too many after! Schizophrenia really does suck but if you fight everyday you might have some success!
