I’ve been here for three hours and so far they’ve just given me nausea meds

I haven’t vomitted again and I don’t have any stomach pain

Yeah that’s exactly what happened. I’m a little confused. It wasn’t just a tad bit of blood or anything and they barely even asked me many questions

They didn’t. They guessed that I have either a tear in my stomach or a viral infection . I’m just going to hope they’re right and watch out for more things

Can you contact your primary care dr to let them know what’s going on. Also, request a same day appt and additional testing?

Did you tell emergency dept youve been in a traffic accident recently? Might be connected

Do what moonbeam suggested and follow up for further investigation if it continues the sore neck and vomiting with blood

I’ve vomited blood in the past. They don’t get concerned weirdly unless it’s multiple times, how much and blood count result is whacked. Just my experience. I’m hoping they will refer you to a GI specialist and get an endoscopy to check it out.

I agree with everyone- please follow up with your primary doctor to be safe. Vomiting blood is not normal
