I'm sure it's been asked before

At what age were you diagnosed? I have late onset schizophrenia and didn’t develop noticeable symptoms until 36, diagnosed at 37 and am now 39.

19 diagnosed after hospitalization

I first received a diagnosis of “major depression with psychotic features” when I was twenty-eight. Not long after that it was changed to “schizophrenic” and I was put on a major tranquilizer - one called Moban. I’ve been on antipsychotics ever since. My diagnosis was recently changed to “schizoaffective”, but that didn’t cause any change in my medications, so I’m not worried about it.

I got a diagnosis for myself when I was 38. My mother got my first and any subsequent diagnoses with subsequent doctors at 21, but I never knew what they were. I was diagnosed Chronic SZ at 38.

I was diagnosed around 30

I was diagnosed over a year ago when I was 43.

I’ve had symptoms since I was like 5. It got a lot worse when my ex dumped me for her brother and about a year later I was diagnosed at about 24 I think? I’m 30 now.

I’m just your all-around generic guy with paranoid schizophrenia; I got diagnosed at 19 years of age at 2:30 pm on a Tuesday. Well, I’m lying about the day and time, but it’s possible. Between 18 to 21 years old is typically when men get diagnosed

I was diagnosed at age 42. It’s suppose to have been much earlier since I went unmedicated for a long time. I was given the ap Etomine for a couple of weeks at age 25 for anxiety attacks and received psychological treatment at the mental hospital at the time. The psychiatrist at the time said there was nothing wrong with me but I don’t know if they told my parents other wise. I self medicated heavily with alcohol for many years. I’m 49 now.

I was at the age of 23, now I am 45.

At age 32, I’m 51 now.
