I'm so tired of looking for work

I’ve been looking since last year August.

It’s really tough out there.

I’m so shy and my cv has so many mental health related gaps.

Most of my previous jobs won’t get back to me about references

And I’m getting so sick and tired of this.

Anyway I’ve still got hope.

Applied to 4 places today.

It’s cleaning though. Hope my back doesn’t cave in again!!!

Have you thought about trying call center work? It can be kind of fun

Have you considered office work. I used to work as a temp doing anything from typing secretarial work filing data input

Why aren’t you using recruitment agencies?

I did, the place I got an interview for rejected me. I apparently don’t possess enough expertise. Lol

I have. They all want experience where I am.

Idk. Idk why my job specialist hasn’t mentioned that. I’ll ask him.

Check out this website

https://www.rec.uk.com/jobseekers/member-directory?&q=&sector=All%20sectors&placementType=all&sortBy=A%20-%20Z&auditedOnly=false&page=1

Find as many recruitment agencies as possible and send them your cv.

Oh sorry to hear you’re in the same situation. It’s a bit crappy innit.

Kitchen job didn’t work out I quit on day three
I was being complained toward regularly even though I was trying so hard. It really upset me. And I was feeling extremely s h I t. Plus the person training me was horrible

Assisted employment is no shame. Neither is pip. You should get both given what you are dealing with.
Going back to cleaning may work for a couple of months but I don’t think it’s a long term solution given what you have said about it in the past.

Can you go to college and get a certificate. Will look great on your CV

I know it’s not, the problem is if I go onto disability or assistance, I won’t be able to stay where I am at the moment, I’ll be evicted into a crummy, unsafe, smoky home
That’s how it is for ppl living on assistance here. Renting rooms. Yea I’m bit concerned about my back, hoping it will be OK this time because I lost some weight etc.and they say it was due to mechanical issues not anything else.

@FreeLunch anyway I think I can work, just it’s tough for me finding a place to work cos I have requirements and my cv is shitty.
