I’m so old, I invented everything you people mention here, and that was AFTER going into retirement.

Joke of course.

I’m moderately old. Had a black & white tv set, pre-Sony cassette player / recorder, vinyl discs were still in fashion, Pluto was a planet, Richard Feynman and Isaac Asimov were still alive, Tchernobyl disaster hadn’t happened, etc.

Some bad things haven’t changed since I’m around.

People still caught in the rat race. Kids still looking up to the wrong role models. Women still stigmatized if choosing career over raising babies. Men still bashed if not providing enough. Rich families getting richer, countries at war against each other, etc.

And we still use money, probably always will.

I experienced cracker jacks and bazooka gum. There was always a toy ring or something in the cracker jacks. This was in the late 80’s early 90’s.
