I'm not so angry anymore

I used to be angry all the time… but now not so much. I guess my grandmother really did know how to push my buttons… And it wasn’t the irritability part of my illness. I miss her but I regret fighting with her so much… Every time we faught she laughed and said you’ll remember me when I’m gone.

I had that very thought when I woke up this morning. It was that I am through being so angry all the time. Enough of that.

Yeah my old father likes to guilt trip me ever so often.
That’s what old people do.

How old are you, @PinCushion if you don’t mind my asking? I’m just wondering if there’s still hope for me yet LOL

It’s funny, earlier this evening I had a flood of self-forgiveness, and with it shed some other unnecessary baggage. It was quite a beautiful feeling, I wish it would have lasted longer. But I take it as a good sign

I’m 77. But don’t wait until you’re old to change.

Absolutely, I hear you. I’ve outgrown some things, still need to work on others. But I’m always trying. Forgiveness seems such a powerful thing, and it’s within my control. I have to ponder that
