I'm having a better day today!

With regards to my delusions. I took a long nap however.

Naps help reset my mind.

Good to hear @flowers20

That’s great! I’m glad you’re doing well today

Hey @flowers20 that’s good to hear.

I would echo the advice I’ve read in other threads, get involved in this community and talk about other stuff, or occupy your mind with other activities in your community, just try different stuff, you may find your mind occupied with thoughts other than your delusions as you focus on various other things.

And when you have your delusional thoughts just do your best to ignore them (I know it is hard)

The only thing is is I don’t feel delusional. I read somewhere here people describing it like a trance. I don’t feel that way.

I don’t know what you read but my delusions were not trance like in any way shape or form. They were just irrational beliefs, making false connections, etc. I was never in any kind of trance.

Did you also not feel delusional?

A delusion isn’t a feeling, it’s an irrational untrue belief (Thoughts vs. Feelings). Like @Bowens I wouldn’t describe my delusional state as being in a trance, it was just an irrational belief I had…

Yes, I did not think I was delusional. My beliefs were very fixed and anyone disagreeing with me had very little impact on them.

I was convinced I was right and truly believed my delusion, at first, but I came around, with help from meds and a lot of thought on the issue, and I don’t think that way anymore.

@flowers20 I could not agree with this more! Please – take our advice as support, and stop making your own threads. Go explore someone else’s. Sometimes we talk about our illnesses, but sometimes we just post things for silly fun. And it helps.

Is it bad that when I see plastic surgery on tv I get triggered?

Please stop.

Sorry if I disturbed you? I didn’t mean to disturb you.

You’re not “disturbing” me.

Your resorting to your old self with that post, asking about being triggered.

As one of the mods told you in another one of your threads, your posts are bordering on spam. All you do is start threads to talk about your delusions and triggers, and we all try and help you, but you ignore us.

It’s getting exhausting. And frustrating.

Stop making your own threads, and go talk on someone else’s. Try Say Anything. It’s very casual there, and not all about being ill.
