My sister has a business trip coming up and she’ll be out of town for a few days. I’ll be spending those nights all alone . I haven’t been alone for 30 years or more that I can think of. It’s gonna be weird. I don’t know how I’m going to handle it, I’ll be very afraid I think. It’s funny when you are married and have kids you never realize how you are never alone.

Sounds like a good time to connect with yourself, get a new movie, a book, a binge worthy show, something to keep yourself entertained. A fine dinner of your favorite foods. Even a bath and an early night if you wanted. It’s you time!
I’ve a feeling your used to taking care of others, I can see how only looking after yourself would would feel. But you’re strong, you can handle a lot, and make good from a less than ideal situation.

i’m alone a lot of the time, its ok if you have something to do, i like my little treats like food/drink and just laying back on my laptop listening to music

You’ve been through so much change, lately. After my Mom went to hospice, I went through this. It’s strange feeling…I get that.
Watch some good movies or TV, journal, get online, talk to friends, make a list of all of your blessings, or play cards.
You’ve blossomed into this super strong lady. You can do this, hon!

Oh ha ha, I remember when I was so sick I couldn’t stand to be left alone at all. Now I spend all day by myself all the time. What a trip.
