I'm going down hill fast

Guys, I feel myself losing it worst feeling in the world, I’m having intense delusions about the government probing my mind, command voices, and intense paranoia to the point where I can barley make it without running away in public. I’m currently on 10 mg of abilify probably gonna ak my psychartist for an increase, just don’t know if I’ll make it that long. I need some advice.

Call your dr, go to the hospital or both. Hang in there

I’m really hoping not to go to my first hospital stay, but I’ll contact my support system

It’s either that or get in touch with your psychiatrist and see if they’d change anything about your meds. Depending on where you live you might be able to get a prescription before seeing your regular psychiatrist, my old county had emergency doctors for just that purpose. I also sometimes had appointments moved up earlier so I could get a med change or dosage adjustment.

Yes get in touch with your support system. If they can’t help you, go to the hospital! Take care of yourself!

Hey, it’s okay. Try your best to remain calm. Call your pdoc. Tell him everything. Ask if he has any sooner appointments. You said you were how old? 16, right? Can you go to your parents? If you can’t get ahold of your pdoc, ask your parents to take you to the hospital. It will be best so you don’t have a complete break from reality.

Yeah I’m 16, but I don’t think my parents will take me to the hospital

Okay. Well maybe you could see what your pdoc says first. Then if that doesn’t work out then you can see about your parents.

10 mg of abilify is kind of a low dose. I think if you get to a doctor they could easily help you

I wouldn’t recommend adjusting the dose yourself though

He’s a minor. It’s not a low dose for a minor. But call your doctor, and also

If you are feeling suicidal, please tell someone — a friend or family member, a teacher, a doctor or therapist or call 911 (if you’re in the U.S.) or the Emergency Medical Services phone number in your country.

You can also call a suicide prevention hotline—these are available in the U.S. and in many other countries.

Are you doing better now? Hope you are…

If you feel yourself going downhill like that again, going to hospital is a good idea. Don’t let not wanting to have your first stay already get in the way. Better to go sooner yourself for a short time than be admitted later after doing things you might regret. Just be safe
