I use to update mine and stuff(Memory, Processor, graphics card etc.) but I just buy a new one when it gets old now. mine only cost a little over $1000(without the monitor)
Canāt you replace the fan? Is it under warranty?
Maybe you can fix or turn off the fan using SpeedFan or in the bios.

Yeah, its still under warranty so if it continues Iāll probably have to just take it in to get fixed. sounds like a hassle though

You may be able to reduce its speed or turn it off using SpeedFan program if its not the processor fan.

I just took a shower, so that gave me something to doā¦and it helped me a little bit.

Or you can just unplug it but idk if opening the case will break the warranty. Thereās stickers on cases sometimes so they can know if you opened it. I worked at BestBuy in computers section for a summer before my schizophrenia.
Iāve already had the case open. Mine is kinda wierdā¦it has a glass door with little knobs holding onā¦ill take a pic

I just took a shower, took the garbage out, got a meal out of the freezing to thaw out, and ate baked beans and drank water, and smoked at cigarette. and I have been on here, so I feel better now. I was so bad off I felt like I was going to explode!! I also took some ambien and klonipin to calm me down a go to sleep! So a negative situation turned into a victory!!!

You could organize your room. Like go through the drawers and closet, get rid of things and fold and organize what you want to keep, clean the top of your dresser etc
Thanks for the suggestion, that is a good idea. I do need to clean the top of my dresser or whatever you call it, lamp stand, I think. I also could get my dirty clothes and put them in the washer machine. Thanks for caring, you are a great person Pianogal.

I donāt know what to do. I live in Podunk, USA and thereās never anything to do around here. I just watch TV and browse the forum.
Lately Iāve been able to do little chores, but it depends on how you feelā¦if you are up for it or not. Just make yourself at first and then see how you feel. but yeah I feel for you. It sucks.
I donāt do chores. I live with my dad and he does all my chores.
oh, do you have a friend to talk to on the phone. Or if you have a car, you can drive around for no reason what so ever. You can listen to some good music on the computer. Or you can write in a journal about how your day is going. Do you like to cook?
If you canāt do any of these things you just have to keep a good attitude and get through it. I know what it is like this has happened to me, and I keep getting through it. I believe Karma will happen to you.
I donāt have any friends and I donāt have a car. I donāt cook, I only microwave food. I can listen to music. I donāt want to write in a journal. I donāt have anything to write about. Iām going to make some coffee then see what crap is on TV.
