Didn’t block a few kicks but was wearing gear so I’m good. My cardio sucks. My girlfriend and I quit smoking this week. I’m doing the bag training after the advanced level training, already did better today than I did Wednesday.

I always had an aptitude for using people’s weight against them. If a guy came my way id lead back and grab him and yank, he’d go flying into the dirt!

That’s called schizo skills
Nah, there is some style based on using your opponent’s weight and movements against them. Like if they throw all of the weight at you you grab them and throw them backwards while you sidestep.

It might sound vain… but some of the motivation for me to quit smoking is an old friend beat me in a swim race… he never used to do that.
Now that I’ve been smoke free… I’ve picked up my speed again.
