I’m sorry @Mountainman that sucks for sure.

Do you think maybe in time it’ll get better?

Is this like a new thing for you?

My daughter has severe eczema and her sweat can cause her to break out but, it’s not an actual allergy to her sweat. I would get a second opinion from an immunologist, skip the dermatologist as they were never any help.

Yeah, I have had eczema all my life and sweat can cause a rash but I think it’s because it’s irritating the broken skin where the eczema is located. I’ve never heard of being allergic to your own sweat. I agree that @Mountainman should get a second opinion.

A sweat allergy is the exacerbation of atopic dermatitis associated with an elevated body temperature and resulting increases in the production of sweat. It appears as small reddish wheals that become visible in response to increased temperature and resulting production of sweat. It can affect all ages.

Atopic dermatitis is what my daughter has. She takes Dupixent. It’s a shot she gets every two weeks. It’s been a life changer.

wheels sound itchy… But on the brightside, I got a fun fact for you, since your hypothalamus is making you modestly hyperthermic at baseline that means your mitochondria are working overtime which means your metabolism is tip top so you are burning fat better than everybody else. #saybyetothedadbod
