Im all Christmas'd out for the year

Just had Christmas on my Moms side of the family I was the first one to leave but I stayed for two and a half hours I was starting to get uncomfortable
Got invited to another Christmas get together tomorrow but I think I will sit that one out Im all Christmas’d out for the year

Pretty much the same for me. My family came over for lunch today. They stayed for 4 hours and I socalized the entire time. Now my family is heading over to my aunts house for dinner. I have decided not to go.

I love my family but I am drained from socalizing so much. I want some alone time now.

Yeah, don’t feel bad. 2.5 hours is a long enough time. You did good.

I have a family party on the 28th that I’m nervous about. It’s with certain family members who are really mean to me.

My husband is coming and he said from now on if anyone is mean he’s going to tell them off. I really really don’t want that to happen. I just want to get through it and go home. No fights. I want peace, even with the mean ones.

I got through another Christmas without incident although our provider’s husband got sick. We’re done. We’ve had the presents and the Christmas dinner. We’re into it being more of a pagan holiday, here.
