I’m gonna be spending Christmas alone with my dog…however, my clubhouse is having a party on December 23, and I’m going to wear an ugly Christmas sweater that has Jesus riding a dinosaur! I just bought it online and hope it shows up in time.

Going to my mother’s Christmas Eve. Then partners mothers on Christmas Day.
Already seen my dad for Christmas. He lives a few hours away so won’t see him now until next year.

I will stay in Germany, has canceled the trip to family to England. But my best wishes have had been sent out to whom I beloved in England. Happy Xmas to you all too. Stay well

I don’t know. We aren’t planning anything. It has reached the point where even my wife admits that her parents always turn it into a trainwreck, yet she won’t stop enabling them. Nobody in my family is willing to make any plans this year.

I got invited to a couple of friends’ Christmases but I really prefer being alone on Christmas and pretending its not happening. Like @Naarai said - it brings up the past too much for me and my issues with my family so for me the less time spent on Christmas the better.

We are going to my sister‘s house. My mom and boyfriend will be out of town for the winter.
However, my sister and her kids will be there, my dad and aunt and her son. Seeing her son is a treat because this is only the second time we’ve seen him since he moved to California. He’s been gone over a decade.
Anyway, this is some of our favorite people.

I’m taking an Amtrak ride to Indiana to be with my family for a couple of days. Just my sister and her husband and two kids and my niece, her husband and four kids and their one aunt. I know, that’s a lot, and it is. And it put me through pure hell last year and here I am, going through it again.
Nobody in my family drinks alcohol, except me. And I drink very little. And I don’t drink around them.
