But I am not suicidal. What is it like to call a crisis line?

I would think it would be anonymous unless you tell them who you are/where you live. So I doubt there is much danger of them having you put in the hospital.

I haven’t used those crisis lines before. But if you’re not suicidal or a danger to others, you should be safe in calling them or texting them

I’ve called the crisis lines a few times. It somewhat depends on the personality and the mood of the counselor you get. I’ve called the lines and talked for almost an hour before, and other times the counselor couldn’t get rid of me soon enough.

i’m pretty sure it’s anonymous and you don’t have to feel any fear cause they gonna send you to the hospital… they might say it’s good for you to get checked up at the hospital but the choice will always lay with you

i rang the samaritans once and found them ok

I would think you would be fine but it depends on what you say, if you say certain things like you are going to hurt yourself or others that would raise some red flags.

They don’t know who you are, they won’t take you to the hospital.
