I need to go to my GP and tell them I don’t need to be sick for a month. I am becoming lazy I don’t do anything except sit and watch tv
Are you are out of work because of symptoms?
Do at least something
I volunteer currently ya charity shop just two hours twice a week
I walk every morning
I still watch a lot of TV and sit around
I unable to do paid work because of symptoms
@shellys12 had a good suggestion. It would be great if you can return to work, but even if you couldn’t,you can still do volunteering or attending classes would be good
I had a lot of anxiety and was depressed but I was working then and so the docs put me on sick and thought it best for me to be away for a month but I feel its too long.
And are you OK to go back , did they do something with your meds. Or is it a kind of perspective change kind of thing
I won’t be going back I will be searching for a new job altogether. I think I’m fine to start work again.
OK coolio , have a good one
For such a short break. What about a self-esteem course? Are also a few courses around more in tune with mental health like a WRAP course (wellness recovery action plan). Medication management courses, Symptom management courses. Hardest thing is tracking down the places that do them.
