I’m not working at the moment, but I worked last year.

i’m at college 
When I first was diagnosed I tried to get work, but my condition was still much too severe. Not too many people wanted to hire me for scut jobs even, truthfully.
no,i am unable to work at this time…grace
I work one day a week I feel it helps with my recovery to get out there.

No not at the moment. I’m currently in on the ground floor of a clubhouse model startup, I’ve been doing the clubhouse thing for the past two years or so. My last paid job was as a part time grounds keeper at a summer camp and a house painter apart from that.
I’m thinking about maybe doing a course at a local community college for people getting back into the work force and from there going into the peer support field in some capacity despite my not being a “people person” but absolutely do want to work for those of us with mental health struggles in the community.

When I analyze the onset of the disease, remembering everything that I went through in the beginning, it seems that I’m better, but looking at this year, it seems that got worse: many voices, some delusions, depersonalization, depression, anxiety … My family is pressuring me to work. In previous years I worked, but this year I did not work.
Sorry if you do not understand me well, I do not speak English fluently.
I got into the work force through a vocational training program… it was through the day hospital I went to.
I was a very part time janitor just a few hours a day. As I got stronger I had the opportunity to work a few more hours… I was able to train as a grounds keeper and a gardener.
Little by little I’ve worked my way up to full time.

That sounds great.
When I wasn’t doing so well, I had doctors telling me that I most likely couldn’t handle the stress of school and that it would do me in… don’t even try.
But I wanted to try.
I had no idea how many classes could be done online… how much help the collage offered with tutoring and home work management. The fact that test can be taken in a different room with a proctor… I’ve been in school a year now and got one more year to finish with my first hurdle. (Catching up and getting ready for the upper level classes… horticulture and land scape design.
I’d say… definitely look into it.
