I mean the next day. I’m trying to work out the intense pain I had for about 4 days after I was injected by a trainee last month. The next day was so very sore in my upper arm… Yesterday when I had injection with trained nurse = hardly no pain now. If they go too deep in the muscle does it cause more pain??
seems to be the case for me. sometimes its barely sore the next day other times it’s sore for 3 days. my nurse said if you over 200 pounds they have to use a longer needle.
Do you have it in you bum or arm. I think mine always use the needle that comes with the depot pack.
I get mine in the butt, not to much pain maybe for a day
I get mine in the arm. my nurse does right arm one month left arm the next and that is our system. i’d be a little embarrassed to get it in the bum.
Me too. Since I have incontinence issues I would rather have it in the arm. Each arm alternative months.
I always got mine in the anus !!
It hurts like ■■■■ for the next 3 days. Always did no matter what.
I would hate to get it in the arm, holy sheeet
I get mine in the hip. It hurts far less than the arm and they don’t actually go in your butt.
I have been getting them in the arm, but for my next appointment I have to tell the doctor about the lumps I have been getting where they inject in the arm, and I know they will switch me to the butt. I am embarrased but nothing I can do about it.
I always have mine in the arm rotating left and right every month.
The injection site doesnt hurt at all at first - its always a delayed couple of days later that it feels like ive been punched there.
As far as im aware the depot pack has two different needles depending on whether you have it in the arm or arse.
When I had to get injections, it didn’t hurt, and it didn’t really cause any pain or discomfort. I only got injections because I was forced to by law. As soon as that was over, I switched to tablets.
