If i had to pick a movie character i could relate to it would be Bridget Jones, unfortunately i know…not very cool but irl im a proper girly girl, i love my clothes and handbags and have always struggled with diets and mess up a lot . Except im sick and she wasn’t. I have schizophrenia, personality disorder and agoraphobia . Im wish i was a normie then id be working, holidays and love life with kids but instead, well you know how it is

I was going to make a thread like this but guess I took too long. I have related to a lot of characters some who I don’t feel proud of. One I could say now would be Danny from The Shining and Dr. Sleep? xD

The character of Roy Batty in “Blade Runner”. He just wanted to live longer.

I relate to a character like Harry Potter, but, also, because I’m an amateur musician I relate to a famous figure like John Lennon and a rather obscure one in the person of Elliott Smith.

I used to relate to Scott Weiland just by listening to his music.

Yeah, he was hot himself, but, man, he was messed up.

Yeah plus the heroin made it worse for him. I never liked how glorified heroin was on the grunge scene.

Im Phyllis from the Office. Big, a little lazy and slow moving, quiet but with funny moments, in love with her husband, and a little kinky (lol).

I’m very much like Patrick Bateman out of American psycho.

I relate to a lot of characters mainly from videogames and anime. Mainly Estinien from FFXIV, Genji from Overwatch, because they both were consumed by anger and hate but are now healing.

And Rin okamura from Blue Exorcist because he is constantly trying to do better despite what others think.

Their are a bunch of characters I relate to in other ways and I like using them to explore my own feelings and experiences.

Natalie Portman in black swan. We are both brunettes and have mothers who have very high hopes for us. I also had a bad relationship with my mother like her in that movie but it has improved somewhat.
Also she’s a perfectionist.
But that guy is like her weakness, I can relate to that though I’m improving with how I am regarding men I like.

Also Hanna in that movie Hanna. She’s a ‘feeak’ and confused. She’s very defensive around guys that like her. She’s a fighter.

K.C. Carlyle from the movie Supercross. He lived my dream.

I would say Charles Emerson Winchester on MASH. He’s a pompous ass, but he does have an occasional noble impulse. He is so much of a better written character than Frank Burns. Frank is a one note wonder. He is so predictable it’s pathetic. Every time he opens his mouth it is painful, because you know the same old tripe is going to come out. Charlse is boorish, but it is an interesting boorishness.
