My old one died of old age maybe five or six years ago, and I was heartbroken. I swore I never get another one, but I want one now. I may go to animal control and see if I can adopt one, maybe next spring.
I want to have all the kitties.
That is great that you want to adopt a shelter cat.
Visiting a shelter is a big no for me especially the cat room. All those cute faces saying Me Me Me, please!
I just emailed the city’s shelter and told them I was interested in adopting an older cat and what was the fee. I would like to get a cat that really needs a home and would make a good pet.
Ahem! You would be the pet to your overlord cat masters.
That’s true at least with cats.
Not to change the subject i bn looking for ya as Mike lol. Found ya lol I thought you was Mia @ElGato
I used to be Mike, but I wanted something anonymous. Nice to hear from you.
If you can give a good home to an animal, that’s a good thing for you both!
That’s why I prefer cats now. All you really have to do is scoop their litter box, feed them, and take to the vet occasionally. They’re pretty easy to care for. I had a pet dog that died of old age before my mom gave me my last cat.
My last cat died in front of me, as I petted her. I had her for 13 years. She died four years ago. Her name was Tubby. My ex-wife actually had her for a year before she and I met, but she turned into a papa’s girl when I started coming around.
I guess I’m not counting the cat I had for the last few months I lived in my friend’s basement. Well, they took him in while I was out of town, as a cat for me, but I couldn’t take him with me when I moved out. I named him Waylon, after one of my favorite musicians, metal vocalist Waylon Reavis, formerly of Mushroomhead and now fronting A Killer’s Confession. But yeah, had him for only five or six months.
