I wonder if this was a psychotic episode

Hello! So Ive been suffering from schizophrenia since I was 15. Im now 24 years old. Back when I was 15 and I started first getting ill my mental health was really bad. What I mean is I was scared all the time from different impossible things for example “they will read my thoughts” and I was believing something may happen to me. I also had really vivid imagination and I found myself dreaming different things almost all the time. I’ve never had hallucinations and I’ve never heard voices.

My question is: Do you think this was a psychotic episode? It continued for 3-4 months.

That’s the broad strokes of a psychotic break I would wager. But that’s the past, yes?
