I can not play any instruments, would like to learn. Do you play any instruments such as piano, violin, guitar or other?
I play guitar, bass guitar, bouzouki, sitar, saz, a bit of piano. Now I wanna buy a minimoog synth
I know chords on the guitar kinda. Haven’t touched my guitar in years though
I play piano and voice- I’m a choral singer and I’m not as good…but I’ve sung as a soprano for 6+ years.
I took piano lessons as a kid. I can plays Disney songs and Christmas carols.
It’s therapeutic and healthy but probably not going to make you money. It is hard trying to make money or make it as a sz.
No, I don’t play any. I have a guitar and did a few lessons but couldn’t afford it. I think martial arts would be nice too but can’t afford it either. Plus, I’m out of shape.
I recommend learning advanced math because it is therapeutic, cheap, and can lead to high paying careers.
This is just general advice and I’m biased.
I feel like I’m in a loop; I smoke and study and smoke. It sucks.
Actually your voice is an instrument. Do you sing sometimes or whistle?
I play some guitar … very little.
I play the clarinet, though I haven’t picked it up in a while.
I play piano. As a kid I also played the violin, autoharp, penny whistle, percussion and accordion. I love music! Do you own an instrument? You can rent one if you don’t. There are lots of videos and books that can show you how to teach yourself if you can’t afford lessons.
What type of music do you listen to? You could try pick an instrument you appreciate and learn, it is never too late. I have been playing guitar since I was 13, it is good to unwind with it every now and then.
I used to play first chair violin in an orchestra, and piano.
I play piano. You can play any instrument you want. Just buy or rent an instrument and sign up for traditional lessons with a teacher or learn on YouTube.com or other online sources. And you can start at any age. I was 46.
I play guitar and sing and a bit of piano. I went to university for vocal music. I haven’t played or sang for many years. About 10 years ago I walked off the stage and never went back. I need to restring my guitar. I’m not sure I’d play again anyway.
It can be very soothing playing an instrument.
I am a student who is undergoing a minor in music. Do you know what voice type you have?
It must be amazing to undego a professional singing training! I’m only a minor so I don’t get to do everything that BMus majors do.
I am a violinist. I got close to going to school for music but decided against it because I wanted to do something more practical. I no longer play in an orchestra but I do play electric violin in a band. I was a late learner but you can learn anything pretty quickly if you put a lot of time into it. Playing an instrument is very rewarding.
Alto/mezzo soprano. Many years of smoking has pretty much ruined my voice. I used to have a large range. I got the raspy thing going now lol.
I’m a soprano, but a soprano 2 because my voice is heavier than others. I can go high (about C7) but I never get the Sop. 1 position because how heavy my voice is…
And I don’t fit into the mezzo-soprano category either, so I’m kind of stuck…lol.
I’ve always admired altos though! They have such a beautiful range and sound. You must have a beautiful voice!
I wish I could paint, but I have such poor dexterity that I can’t paint what I see.
I played the piano a bit as a kid. Not anymore though.
I was very amused this weekend. My son wants to play the trumpet, he told me billions of time. This weekend he could try. It sounded horrible most of the time, but he loved it and was dedicated and sometimes he suddenly had the right tone. We had fun. He has to wait though till all his adult front teeth have come through.
