I wish Covid did not exist, but since it does - Poll

I’ve had the first two shots. The booster clinic is on a work day for me.

My first go with covid was sept-Oct last year. It lasted a week. The worst part for me was the constant headache followed by serious fatigue. I never lost my sense of smell or taste, though my daughter did. My case was pretty mild.

Then in July I got it again. Man, this round was far worse. Felt like the flu, sore everything, cough, sneeze, congestion , runny nose, and massive headaches. Tired as heck. Lost smell and taste. Brain fog.

This lasted about 4 days, then I felt better and went back to work when my 5 day quarantine was up. Then, after 4 days at work, it came BACK. Doc called it rebound covid. Said I worked too much too fast and it caused it.

Brain fog cleared quick for me. The loss of taste and smell is slowly coming back. I have probably 80 to 90% back. I was scared for a while because before those senses went completely, everything suddenly tasted like hot garbage. That can last and replace the loss. Luckily, it didn’t.

Be careful to not try to do a lot when you feel better. Rebound covid SUCKS. It feels worse than the first bout because you’re already tired from it.
