My 2 years old overclocked RTX 2080 Ti is 60-70% faster than a PS5 from specs lol I can play any game with Ray Tracing, Ultra graphics, 4K at over 60fps. No Ray Tracing and Ultra fraphics for consoles lol Consoles compare to Medium-High graphics vs PC. Ultra is higher than High.

The thing is the new gen consoles will have 2080 ti speed, the fastest processors and will preform like a top spec pc. The reason they will be better is because they are going to cost like £500 or £600. You don’t have a chance of getting anywhere near that price with a pc.

I may buy too but I want backwards compatibility. And I may not buy depending on the price as I don’t own a 4K TV.

It will perform close to a high end not even close to top end. It has a Ryzen 3000 8 core 3.5Ghz. My 1 years old Ryzen 3000 8 cores runs 4.3Ghz.
There is even 64 cores desktop processors lol
Also Ryzen 4000 will be released in a couple of months making Ryzen 3000 much slower.

No it won’t, it will around a 2070 Super to a vanilla 2080 I read. 2080 Ti is faster and then you get Custom Overclocked 2080 Ti like my Asus one which is much faster.

Yes, I know they are not going to be the fastest of the fast, my point was is you are going to get a 2 - 3k pc for £600.

No, you will get the console 200-300$ cheaper, the video card in PS5 is as fast as a 5700XT which costs 350-400$. By the time PS5 is released 2070 super and 2080 will be cheap and the 5700XT much cheaper 200-300$.

But PCs are for ppl who like to optimize settings and overclock. If you just want to play sure just get a console.

Let’s put it this way, the new graphics card on the new xbox has the same terra flops as a 2080 ti. Its not as fast but it is close, so basically for a lot less than the price of just the graphics card you could get a whole working console.
PCs are always going to be the fastest. But this time with consoles they have really outdone themselves.

Where do you see that? My overclocked 2080 Ti has over 16 TFlops. Custom 2080 Ti have much highet TFlops, mine runs 2100Mhz core 16Ghz VRam. Also by the time PS5 releases the 2080 Ti will be less than half price.

From what I read RTX 3070 will be as fast as a 2080 Ti. So you get 3080 and 3080 Ti.

Yeah it is usually like that on the next gen graphics cards. I don’t keep up with it like I used to. I could never afford this stuff.
btw I just checked Xbox is 12 Tflops, non-custom 2080 Ti 14.2, custom is 16-16.5Tflops. I read on TomsHardware benchmarks that the RTX 3080 non-Ti is 30% faster than 2080 Ti. 3080 Ti is 40-50% faster than 2080 Ti. Meh I am happy with my 2080 Ti, I will skip RTX 3000.
