I went on a walk 3 days in a row

It didn’t really help my symptoms, but it’s good to get exercise.

Yeah it’s a great thing for those who suffer.

It’s not easy early but long term symptoms were so much better for me. Sadly it took me a long time to figure that out!

It’s catch 22. You do it. You get fitter but symptoms may improve but you need to do more and symptoms sometimes stop that!

Keep going. I wish I did what i do now 10 years ago! But no use crying over spilt milk!

I walk twice a day. You are correct it doesn’t help with symptoms but definitely helps with the anxiety and eases the stress that symptoms make me go through.

I will see about going on a walk today too. It’s hard for me to motivate myself to do much of anything, but I think I’m doing a good job. I will do my best to keep it up @rogueone.

@SpacemanInvader Wow twice a day? That’s pretty awesome. My anxiety is still high when I walk but I still think it’s good to get outside.

I usually walk every morning on the treadmill. It doesn’t really do anything for my symptoms, like you said, but it makes me feel healthier. I haven’t walked in over a week, though, because i was out of town. Now that i’m back i have to get the motivation going and get back on it.

Good for you. I would walk but the neighbors will start talking about me. :expressionless::expressionless::expressionless:

@disciple: You can do it!! I hope you enjoyed your time out of town.

@GrayBear: Oh no, maybe that is paranoia.

Well done. This is great. Walking may not help your sz symptoms but for me if I’m feeling anxious or down it really helps. I’ve been walking twice a day now since April when I got my puppy. It’s been great for me.

That’s great. I’m having trouble getting myself to leave the house.

Wow, that’s impressive! Hell, I can’t even go to the bathroom successfully for three days in a row.

My dr. Claims that exercise can help repair some of the damaged fibers in the brain. I try to go to the park and walk when I get a chance.

Did you get a pug?

Thanks guys. Mentally I’m doing God awful, but I feel like these walks are a positive. @LilyoftheValley I understand. It’s hard to get up and go but it is good for you. Do you have someone who can tell you to do it? It helps if someone tells me to go or makes me go. @Jonnybegood Don’t overdo yourself after surgery. That would be bad. Did your surgery go well? It was for a hernia, right? @anon12381882 I hope you enjoy the park.

I have people in my life but no one makes me go out. It’s something I need to work on though.

Yeah it’s a hernia. I can walk all I want I just can’t hike much for two weeks. I haven’t been lifting anything or working out or anything. I just gotta go pretty slow but I’m good.

Just do what you can. That’s all anyone can ask for.
