I want to change the laws on assisted suicide for the mentally ill.
We should be able if we want.
How would you go about doing that? How do you get a law changed? I don’t know anything about it really.
I think we qualify for something like this if we choose.
Well firstly by virtue of someone being mentally ill they are not fit to make serious decisions for themselves that’s why a lot have people taking care of their finances.
But alot of us are sane enough to wander the streets?
That is quite intelligent of the human race? No, people don’t repeatedly contradict themselves in every way at all.
And if someone isn’t sane enough to make a decision like that then that is every reason to kill yourself is it not?
The entire thing is complete ■■■■■■■■ in my opinion. A third of us do it anyway.

Well the reason that so many are wondering the streets is because the Reagan administration changed the policy on caring for the mentally ill to supposedly divert money where it was deemed better spent.
Well that is an interesting fact.
But never the less why can’t those people get assisted suicide? They are as good as dead anyway.
I know some of us would qualify even with a mental illness.

Well the conspiracy theorists think that the government denying health care to many with mental health issues was the first step in the indoctrination of fear of mental illness in society as a whole.
So basically what that did is it introduced everyone to seriously mentally ill people on a daily basis.
by seeing them everywhere every day those that aren’t Ill are afraid of being ill even if only on a subconscious level.
They don’t want to end up “like that” so they get addicted to drugs they don’t need.
I’m not saying the real mentally disordered like most on this forum I mean perfectly sane house wives taking valium regularly to cope with normal everyday life.
So when these into consideration you may see that the state of mental health care now was all planned.
You have to appreciate that we are nothing but cattle to be profited from.
When I say we I mean the mentally disordered.
Add up how much has been spent on medication for you in one year then consider how many years you’ll prolly live add that all up and you’ll see that letting you off yourself is just not financially feasible.
I agree with you Pans, knowing that I have been sentenced to a lifetime of recurring psychotic episodes is enough to make me wish to escape this cycle. Things do improve between episodes, however I know a new psychotic mania is on the horizon every time.
For fear of ending up brain damaged or experiencing excruciating physical pain I choose to stay, but given the option to swiftly and painlessly end my existence, I would immediately… avoiding (based on past episodic rates and life expectancy) at least 30 future episodes.
It’s not about them being Christian it’s about them liking money.

We often are not in our right mind. We have delusions and hallucinations. If it was legal some people would have themselves killed because of a temporary state of mind, because of a temporary delusion. Or a voice told them to when if they waited it out they would have gotten better. Have you ever heard the saying,“Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem”? A girl on a different site told me this saying is for kids and is outdated high school crap. I believe it is totally true. I told you before, for the first two years of my illness I had every reason to not live. i had every good reason to commit suicide. I went down, down, down; getting worse and worse with no end in sight. No hope, no light at the end of the tunnel. No inkling I would ever get better. I had nothing and I was insane. But just three years later I was working. A year after that I had a car. a few years later I had some small luck with some women. Now I live on my own, I have another car, I have a job and I take classes. Your illness sounds very severe. My case was severe too. But I got better. You can’t let everyone who is going through a bad spell to kill themselves. It wouldn’t be fair to them, it wouldn’t be fair to their families, and it wouldn’t be fair to society.
Assisted suicide laws were just loosened in Canada by our oh-so-nutty and undemocratic Supreme Court, which likes to misinterpret laws. I’ve been writing protest letters ever since. Needless to say I disagree with your stance.
Not trying to be unkind, but if you put half the effort into getting better that you do into being miserable you’d be enjoying a much improved quality of life. While Sz certainly lays the foundation for misery, we are the ones who build castles on it. Maybe it’s time you built elsewhere?

Maybe just those who would logically qualify, such as myself. I mean i really truly do logically qualify. It’s just obvious, it really is.
Whats very strange is that they will allow the terminal this thing, but my ■■■■, it’s worse than that because it isn’t terminal, it’s just pain forever you know. If i had been terminal it would be over by now, but it’s the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving and then it gives and then gives you some more.
It isn’t a temporary issue in the least, and i am not delusional whatsoever. I truly qualify.
I can’t be making them that much money can i? What the hell? Im just one guy. Even if everyone like me were to do it it wouldn’t affect anyone’s wallet. It’s a drop in the bucket. Maybe they are just sickos huh? Just evil evil sickos.

Hell i was never even a negative person, only recently have i become this way. It’s only pain to, thats why i talk this way, it’s just pain doing that.
You just know when it’s done, you know when you can’t do anymore, it’s a natural feeling. I already tried, and i already fought, and it’s just simply done.
It isn’t a temporary issue either, it’s seriously nothing but worse from now on, im really screwed here and it’s just done.
On a sidenote could you fill me in on the changes made there? What did they change it into and what did they change it from? And why are you protesting?
