I hear ya, I would like to shower and wear clean clothes more too but doing it is like climbing a mountain. Was just thinking the other day that before last psychosis, I couldnt recall how often I cleaned myself up either.
@Sherlock yeah it’s not easy sometimes. I’m gonna try to make it a habit.
I’m washing clothes now. Will shower tomorrow. Maybe I’ll try cold water at the end of the shower even.
My goodness. This has inspired me to think about taking a shower. And yes it does have all those positive affects. Ive never had a problem with hygiene. So that is something to be thankful for.
I shower when I remember to. I’ve started writing lists on my phone to keep track of what I did when, like when I last left the house, showered, washed my hair, etc. Sometimes I look at it and am surprised by how long it’s been, but I get super happy when I get to write something new in it.
I agree. Feels good during and after showering. Good for mental health. Lately I’ve been showering every 2nd or 3rd day, but doing it daily would be better.
I shower every other day.
I’m a smoker and noticed that after bathroom smell improves, so my clothes smell different.
I imagined bc I go out every day, how non smoking people can sense me in bad way.
So, I can’t do it on daily bases, but since I don’t sweat when it’s cold, every other days is acceptable.
Once or twice day. Every morning is a must. If you poop, you gotta wash!
Somedays I try working out before my morning shower and I feel gross. It even gives me headache sometimes. I have to shower first thing in the morning. Luckily I have never had negative symptoms. And supposedly with each episode, the chance of negative increase. 6 episodes and nada.
