I hope they figure out the best treatment for you. My husband has a pain pump and he’s still in pain all the time. It’s so awful. I’m so sorry you’re going through this
Do you have a gym membership? At the gym where I live they have a sauna and a jacuzzi. The heat may be helpful. Is your entire body in pain? A jacuzzi would be good for that.
You are absolutely the sweetest person I’ve ever met. Please be careful with the pain pills. My grandmother knew a guy who got addicted to pain pills after he had an accident. He lost his family over it. She said he used to be a nice guy.

You should try to overcome your intrusive thoughts and take command of your life.
I used to have such thoughts in the past, but I managed to get rid of them.

Lots of love @anon78876561 . I know how tough it is to go through such a low. All you want is for it to end. No matter what.
But, you have to fight. Life is beautiful, even the dark parts because they make us appreciate the light so much more.
You are a good person. You deserve a life without pain. Try the new med. It may just help. I’ve tried a lot of meds and can tell you, each one is different, and just because one was a bad experience doesn’t mean the next will be. It’s worth a shot.
And on top of you deserving to live and reach happiness, your kids need you. No one can replace you in their lives.
