I want to die

My father got his MRI results back.
He may have bone cancer.
This means that there is a good chance I’ll end up homeless if something happens to him.
I don’t know what will happen to my disabled Mom?

I want to die right now.

Hey it’s ok there’s still not a lot known is it possible that it can be cured?

You need to stay strong for yourself and your mother.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I wish you well.

Oh god. I’m so sorry wave. I really hope your father doesn’t have it.

As for being homeless, what about the charity group home? You’ve got a brother too. I’m sure he’ll help. You’ll definetely have to have to have a talk with him to see what options there are.

Before things get worse, now is the time to move somewhere affordable. Some people with disability here rent for as little as $100 a month. Stay in control of the situation, use food stamps. Keep stress low by taking time to do relaxation exercises every day to “get away” from your problems for a bit. You and your mother should get support from the government…

I’m sorry @Wave I hope it turns out OK for your dad. Can you talk with your brother about your worries? Maybe he can help ease your concerns about the future.

Do you get ssdi? All I have is my mom. When she goes I’ll be so lonely since I’m pretty cut off from everyone else. If you get ssdi you can probably afford a small apartment. If you don’t can you find someone to help you get it? I’m so sorry

Omg, @Wave, that’s terrible news, and terrifying for you. But try to stay calm and take one step at a time. Get help from whomever you can and get as much information as you can.
I hope all things go so much better than you imagine. God bless you and your folks.

I’m so sorry.

Maybe if you start scoping out options now you’ll be more prepared if he passes.

I hate you’re going through this, but you have to start doing some research now.

Sending you guys good vibes from California…

Yes, I’m so sad and devestated today.
I’ll be ok financially.
It’s just that my father has stuck by my side all these years.
He has been my anchor all my life.
I don’t know what I’ll do do without him.

@everhopeful You are right, I have my brother and I still have the charity organization. Thank You.

I also have to come to grips that my father had a long life, he’s 83 years old.

Thank You everyone for your well wishes.

Life goes on.

Wow I can’t believe it!
The Nurse Practitioner called us up to let us know that my Dads issues are spinal and he needs to see an orthopedic surgeon.
He may not have cancer after all!

I was doing a lot of catastrophic thinking last night as usual!

I am relieved for now.

Thanks guys for your support!
