… I’ll ask for a mood stabiliser though. Obviously I will work with a doc on this.
First time I tried it I was 10 years free of psychosis on meds before I attempted to go off them , but I don;'t think the antidepressants were the best idea.

Be careful @anon25873142
If one suffers from psychosis then remaining on an AP is usually required
It might be that I have to remain on them but maybe at lower doses as times go on
Yeh I wanna come off too. Not sure if I shud b4 I have a child or after. If b4 it might b better for the kid in terms of risks.
It’s not certain yet tho. But I’ve been thinking about it as I don’t have sz anyway.
I hope things work out for u.
I think certain meds are safe for kids, but its still good to be cautious and you can ask your doc to guide you through when you are ready to have kids …
Thankyou Milly
Yup I think I’ve read abilify is safe but some risks go up a slight bit.
I’m a bit crazy so I’d rather come off the med, for myself too.
So I’ll speak to a pdoc about that as one needs to be careful about making decisions based on mental health.
So you are gonna have a kid?
Yes, in the sense that I’m considering it, so it’s not for sure as my mind changes somewhat every day atm.
Well, it’s only up to you. Just know that you need to find the right guy. Having someone giving you support is important if things get out of control.
Thanks @Speedy that’s really supportive of u.
Hope u are well.
I’m done trying to go off meds. My life is okay on them and I need to maintain an attitude of gratitude for what I have.
Yeah I think I was just having an off day feeling crappy about having to take meds, but ultimately im grateful for them.
I’m nervous about the police knocking on my door one day
