(as long as I don’t relapse b4hand)
Because idk how my body will react if I relapse n get put on meds again
But the side effects
Plus psychiatrist approves of me trying to come off in the future
It’s a tricky decision

My psy let me go off meds because he can’t force me and its my right. I gradually went insane after a year. I was in my psychosis eyes-closed yelling nonsense with hallucinations, delusions, paranoia and was aggressive. My parents called 911 and 4 cops came calming me in the basement. They didn’t leave me until I was seen by an emergency psychiatrist. I was scared that they tase me if I become violent. Lesson learned that you can’t live without medications especially if your SZ is caused by genetics and not by drugs. Drug induced SZ disappears when you stop the drug.
No one in my family has a mental or physical disease. The thing is that SZ genes can be silent so parents can be carriers for those silent genes and when the offspring gets complementary SZ genes from both parents, these bad genes get activated.
Why not just try to find meds that don’t give you side effects? It took me 3 years to find ones that worked and didn’t give me bad effects but I found them and it was worth all the time and trouble 110%. There are sooo many meds out there there are bound to be ones that are the perfect fit for you.
Because I’m not keen on changing meds myself. I have a funny feeling about it, idk. And abilify is the only anticholinergic ap in the UK, UK doesn’t have as many aps as US, which is wat I want, it also is the one that is meant to keep prolactin lower, it is one that is meant to be most activating… So i know that meds affect everyone different thou but also I get a bad feeling about trying out another let alone several other meds I feel like it will maybe not be favourable to my brain chemistry personally.
But idk for sure, I just am scared to do that…
(If abilify stops 'working ’ on me then I would have no choice thou, but to switch meds)
