There are two glp1 weight loss drugs geared for people without diabetes.
Wegovy (Ozempic) and Zepbound (Mounjaro)

There are weightloss options for people w/o diabetes. I feel like these meds should be used for people with diabetes first. There is an ongoing crisis of shortage due to everyone using it for weightloss.

If you have moderate to severe sleep apnea you can get Zepbound. I started taking it 3 weeks ago and I’ve lost 7 or 8 pounds on the starter dose.

You can get at home sleep tests now too that are way easier than going to a lab. Ask your PCP about it. Sleep apnea can cause similar symptoms to depression and negs.

I asked my doctor and he said I had to see a nutritionist first and get on a plan for a while before insurance would cover it. I’m not diabetic, but I’m obese.
