Yeah they have been bred to have many health problems. Fortunately mine is ok. She did had a surgery on her nose and throat when she was 1 though to improve it.

I always pronounce Dachshunds with a German accent, and I say it like Dach-hoooond. :laughing:

Germans often use the shortened term Dackel for dachshund.
