I am only on 4mg a day of Flupentixol now - I was on a pretty high dose and it killed me with side effects
Now I am on 111mg of Lurasidone, they want me to go to 128mg, but I want to stay on this dose.
Still sleeping a lot and lacking energy, but when the Flupentixol is gone I hope I will be more energetic
Problem that still remains is my existential stance on life.
I don’t know what to do about that

I’ve been on latuda six years I think.
In the beginning I had horrendous jaw clenching.
I was given antanex for jaw clenching but after a month or two the jaw clenching went away.
I have insomnia but I’ve always had insomnia most of my life including childhood.
I take imovane for that.
Weight gain but not sure if that’s from latuda .
Nothing else really.
Be careful on high dose of Lurasidone. Cardiac problems is a well known side effect I believe. Hopefully it won’t be a problem for you, but listen to your body.
I take Latuda 120 mg a night and next week when I see the pdoc I’m asking if I can have something added, another ap because I’m not doing well. It may not be something fixable by an ap but I’m scared, I’m not on the same page with anyone at all.
Sounds like a good idea to get in touch with your doc. If you are not doing well you might as well ask the doc to consider if it’s beneficial for you to be on lurasidone if it’s not doing the job. I mean if you get another AP there will be interactions. I know for some that is the only option so they have to be on more than one AP, but you should avoid it if you can.
Olanzapine was a good medication for me apart from the weight gain it had a sedating calming effect and no problem sleeping.
Being thirty kg weight gain on it ain’t fun do.
If latuda isn’t feeling right try something else.

Your existential stance on life is common with sz, think we just gotta enjoy all moments of happiness as they are important when we’ll eventually look back. Just go out and enjoy yourself while your off, thats what im doing.
I put on weight with Latuda and it’s supposed to be weight neutral. Hasn’t made me obese or anything but I used to be a skinny guy. I still take Geodon with it though. Have tried coming off of it and just can’t do it. When I was just on Geodon I stayed skinny. But Geodon has so many side effects worse than the weight. If I could just take Latuda I would. Well that and my other five scripts that aren’t APs.

I’m on 60mg of Lurasidone and it works great. Since 2019.
Same here, but I put on 35 kg’s!
Yeah I put on 30 kg.
I didn’t even eat much.
Maybe metabolism got affected…
I’m on 120 mg of Latuda, and it works well for me. I also take 4.5 mg of Vraylar in conjunction with the Latuda. Very minimal side effects for me, and the increase in Vraylar has allowed me to get a job. Good luck!
