I think I've finally solved the problem of how evil arose

What’s the relation, if any, between the demiurge and the devil? Are they one and the same? How do you go from an “ignorant” demiurge to an “evil” satan? I believe I’ve cracked it. Stay tuned for details.

I hope you can compile your revelations into binary logical equation with standard operators.

Despite being religious to the core, rational answer to the problem of evil eludes me, no matter how I present the equation.

Can I bump into this topic a little bit?

Thinking metaphorically, not literally, but in representation, consider the following.

There is a light source, a source of light (any kind) and it is casting its rays of light outwardly. In path of some of this light, is a material object, which interrupts the paths of the these rays of light. That interruption casts a shadow, behind the object.

Secondly, also dealing with material objects, is the idea of newly formed objects, time, and corruption – or – enthropy, which is the shedding of energy (typically considered heat) into a vacuum or enviornment of some sort.

So you brought up the gnositic conept of the demiurge. I would suggest that you step back a little bit and and consider a little more widely, that cosmology and what relates, with out jumping to conclusions. Consideration must be applied beyond a sort damning of materiality, and expanded to realize potential motivation or force of the Monad (Source) from which all Emanations are derived.

Could you expand a little bit on this?

What do you think of the objections of Irenaeus to the gnostics?
For example, why is the Demiurge free to do what he wants in spite of the Monad?

The so called “Gospel of John” is essentially a Gnostic text and interpretation of “Source gospel” or Z document, to which the closest Gospel to that is that called “Mark”.
