I think I've finally given up (sorry I mean accepted my condition)

I’ve got stuff that I need to do. Real life stuff to get sorted. And I can’t even muster the energy for a shower.

The problem with giving up is all the real life stuff needs to get sorted still. So I probably can’t even give up.

How funny is that. I can’t do anything.

This stuff ain’t easy with this condition. Add the added reduction of motivation as a side effect of the meds and you are doubly knocked for six.

I hope things get easier for you @everhopeful. You are one of the good guys and don’t deserve this.

Hang in there @everhopeful

You gotta get the baseline stuff done, but beyond that if you aren’t satisfied with what you’re accomplishing I’d reformulate your approach.

I’m horrible with routines or caring for myself very well on a scheduled basis. Winging it is what works for me…

Med induced lethargy is a tragedy. I’m sorry you gotta sit with that.

Certainly don’t give up. If you need things to be more convenient so you can afford focus on what you like doing there are a lot of alternatives for almost everything these days.

Like portable laundry machines that allow you to efficiently wash a single set of clothes in 10 minutes when needed, versus a blight more common to everyone which is hauling laundry baskets around and working 3 hour time to make sure nothing is left in the machines and it’s all ready to go.

It’s only a bad day, not a bad life :o)

Just breathe in, take it easy and have a lazy day today.
Tomorrow is a new day and you can do what you have to do then.

sorry =(

I forced myself to do some some stuff basically because they have to get done.

So this is my life from now on. Forcing myself to do basic things.

yeah, if you think, we all do most of the time. :unamused:
I forced myself to shower, I still have to brush my teeth :unamused:

Soon these become habits (maybe someday)

To @everhopeful, I don’t know you. I am new here. But I will be here and read a few posts when I have the time. I hope you are able to find some form of supports. You are being brutally honest about your condition and that is rare. Maybe you will grow, and see things better.
