I just noticed a scene from “It” (2017) popped in my head…I hated it…it was violent…now we are getting ready to watch season one of “breaking bad”…should I watch it? I’m scared of intrusive thoughts.
As I got older I just kinda stopped watching a lot of movies and TV. I avoid negative subject matter, like violence and overtly sexual stuff. I even tend to shy away from the edgier comedies. But many people still watch movies and TV, so that’s just a highly subjective approach. I always used to spend my free time listening to music instead, although nowadays I don’t do that very much either. A lot of time on the computer and hanging out with my squeeze.
@eighteyedspy23 Yeah I’m like that also. Can’t tolerate the violence and the ‘adrenaline giving rush’ of certain movies. It just makes me bleed when the camera jumps to make it more exciting. Although I enjoy documentaries and slow paced movies.
For what it’s worth I really like Breaking Bad, but that might deter you from watching it.
I avoid morbidity. There’s too much of it in media today
