I always thought I had autism before my sz diagnosis. I was social isolating but I had friends before socially isolating at around 16 y.o. before my sz.
7 psychiatrists said I have sz and I felt relieved when I heard my diagnosis because I was about to become insane from not knowing what I have.

I have the positive symptoms of schiz in addition to being an Aspie. I lose my insight and relapse if I go off my APs for long enough so I’m definitely not misdiagnosed.
