In October 2018, at my first psych appointment in this area , I was told a best fit was ASD and schizophrenia .
Whether that was stated in the referral letter the pdoc sent I don’t know . On the basis of that I mentioned schizophrenia at my first autism assessment.
In the summary of the post dx appointment it mentions I have a schizophrenia dx. I presume even if not mentioned in the pdoc’s referral letter , the autism assessment team would have checked to see if what I’d said was correct. If not correct it surely would not have been mentioned in the summary.

I dont know what you mean dual diagnosis? They never get it right except mine I don’t think anyone offered me anything else than pd sz.

My psychiatrist suspects I may have aspergers @firemonkey and also I am obviously diagnosed with sz too. Both is possible.

I think a few here are diagnosed with both.
I had the ASD traits when first admitted in 2010, never fully Dx ASD. I question my SZA dx?
