Finally. I had it for 10 years before but then i got paranoid the government was gonna frame me and refused to sign a form so they took it away. I havent had it for 8 years. My application has been in process for the past 2.5 years. It’s now in the final step (income verification) and a case worker said it “looks good”. They didnt have enough recent records cause my doctor moved away so they sent me to a psychologist who confirmed i have schizophrenia and added autism to my diagnosis. It will be such a relief if i get it. I dont wanna be to positive about it and count on getting it cause i dont wanna jinx myself but everything is lining up.

The US government is headed for a shutdown. SSDI / SSI / social securities will be paid but services and disabilities decisions can be delayed.
Good luck to you. Hopefully local gov agencies will continue to work to approve disabilities. I heard concessions were made to make other benefits harder to get and possibly disrupt food benefits - so November we might not get SNAP.
