Stress makes me gag and choke.
it can shut me down.
there are all these tempting treats around being the holidays and stuff.
I think I’m a holiday eater.
I’m a stress eater too. I substituted sugar with those energy bars without sugar. I eat them when I’m stressed. They’re made of fruit and seeds, the ones I buy.
Man i’ve had several double dinners and the like in the last week… I took zyprexa for three days and it nearly destroyed all self control I had built up over the last year.
I’ve kind of pulled out of it already though.
Man the human mind… At least these days… Just wants and wants and wants. I quit drinking coffee
I tend to eat practically binge eat when I have been expending more energy than consuming. Like last night, I ate a bunch of snack foods after dinner because I ran and did a strength training routine back to back yesterday.
I tend to look at why I am eating a salami like its a hot dog and find good valid reasons like “I ran 3.5 miles and then did 100 dips and 100 push ups and had low calorie meals today”.
just realised this thread was about comfort eating lol idk where my head was at, i am trying not to eat too much but sometimes its the only thing that will cheer me up, i have been eating cheese and crackers a bit lately and also crackers and dip not too much though just enough to satisfy whenever i feel the urge
i always have things around me that i can eat or i am always going to places that have food or is near food, food is everywhere, its no wonder everybody feels happy when we eat, we are like conditioned to eat, food is literally shoved down our throats, i mean what do they expect?
The older you get, the easier it is to gain weight. And the older you get, the harder it gets to lose weight. I’ve heard that it is very common for the average male to gain an average of 2.2 lbs every three or four years after they reach thirty. My figures may not be exact, but it’s something close to that. You may not have to worry about that for a few years though.
