Hey @Daze I edited your post. Paki is a racial slur, even though you probably didn’t realize it. It’s the same as when people use the R word without knowing it’s a slur. It’s just a way to learn.

Like I said, I don’t think you realized it was offensive because it’s not a group you have much experience with. I didn’t suspend you, I am just letting you learn that people from the Middle East don’t like being referred to as Pakis, any more than your son would like being referred to as the r word.

Go after those Americans. I don’t know where the call came from, but to me he was definitely foreign.
You dissapoint me @Ninjastar, you would have felt the same way, that it was international scam.
I am sorry you were scammed. Being scammed sucks. But this isn’t about whether or not you were scammed. It’s about the specific language you used, and the opportunity to learn.

No harm, no foul. So many Americans experience this.
I have nothing to say to your plight of wanting to call me giving racial slurs.
You seem to be out of touch with the topic, and think I should not discriminate.
You’re the one doing the discriminating by using that racial slur. It’s no different than people issuing the R word. Which I know you’re capable of understanding. This isn’t on @Anon10 for calling you out on. Just accept you were wrong and learn from it.
If you knew they were from Pakistan, the correct term to have used would have been Pakistani.
