I picked up this accounting diploma course at an online college. I was going into it thinking it would be real dry and that i would drop the course fairly quickly. But! I have been no-lifing this course and am very much enjoying myself. I like it even more than how much i was into computers before the dx.

Its been so long since i actually did something. To actually be interested in an activity. Its great, i hope these feelings for accounting dont wane with time but actually get stronger.

Anyway, just been really happy since starting the course, had to share with somebody.

I guess the message is, don’t give up hope, life can surprise you.

That’s great news @anon99233869 and it’s inspiring news too. I’ve thought about entering that field too but thought it was too boring but maybe that’s what I need.

Accounting isn’t easy.
I tried that as my first major and failed.
My brain isn’t wired for that.

Here’s a joke: How do you tell an extroverted accountant from an introverted one? The extroverted one looks at the other person’s shoes.

Sounds very positive. I wish I had taken accounting instead of physics in high school.
